This 2.5 hour interactive workshop will introduce you to Mindfulness. Participants will learn what the term means, how it can improve their lives, the science behind Mindfulness (Why and How it Works!), and will participate in several Mindfulness experiences. Mindfulness Based Practices can be done by anyone at anytime and can assist one with: managing stress, improving cognitive skills (focus, memory, concentration), and much more. Mindfulness Based Practices have been the topic of much recent research and is used by individuals, corporations, professional sports franchises, and even the military. This workshop is facilitated by Dr. Angel Falzone, PhD, LMHC and Bill Geurdes, LMHC.
